I was in Budapest as a teenager, during the Warsaw Pact days. I must have been there, but I don't recall it. What is the name of that place?
Hősök tere (=Heroes' Place). It is flanked by two museums to the left and right, and in the photographers' back there is an avenue copying the Chams d'Elisées in Paris in its style. (And to the right there is a wide street/place, on which the May Day parades were held.)
